Natalie
was born in 1968 in Kent. After studying Graphic Design at
Newport School of Art, she went straight on to become an artist
and contemporary designer, creating designs for the giftware
industry.
After
spending ten years in London she now works from her home in
West Yorkshire, overlooking the beautiful Calder Valley.

Her
mixed media creations combine the use of acrylics and inks,
offset by gold leaf which lends intensity to the finished
painting. Colour is added in layers over a textured base of
gesso, wood veneer, fabric, sand and snakeskin.

The
colours are chosen to depict mood and the palette is characterised
by earthy browns and golds. The innovative use of different
techniques and materials adds a rich, textured flavour to each
piece.
Natalie welcomes commissions from private buyers, corporations
and interior designers. She is happy to create paintings to
co-ordinate with your home or workplace, whether it be a single
canvas, a diptych or triptych - the choice is yours!
